Antique South Bend Gentleman’s Pocket Watch of the Day circa 1909

The three Studebaker Brothers of South Bend, Indiana owned the Studebaker Automobile Company known for their innovative designs in automobiles also owned the South Bend Watch Company. They applied the same innovative approach to their pocket watches and as with their automobiles. The South Bend Watch Co. has developed a large collector following for these fine timepieces. This Gentleman’s Dress Pocket Watch of the day is a size 16 and measured 2 inches in diameter. This South Bend Studebaker Movement is housed in this popular Yellow Gold Fill Wadsworth Case Company case. This all-original South Bend is faced with this double sunk dress dial and highlighted with beautifully heat treated Blued Steel Hands. This Antique South Bend Pocket Watch has been cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy. This entails a complete disassembly with all parts cleaned and reassembled using the finest watch oil and gear grease.
