This Waltham Porcelain dress dial is in excellent condition and highlighted with the scarce and popular Roman numerals. Roman numerals were popular through the late 1900’s, after which the trend was toward the Arabic numerals found on the railroad pocket watches. These ornate dials were made using 2 Copper Plates soldered together, and then baked with many layers of Silica giving the dial the deep rich porcelain finish. This dial is in excellent condition without flaws, showing clean and bright! This fine dial is highlighted with the beautifully heat-treated blued Steel open moon or Breguet style hands. This fine Waltham Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.

The movement on this Waltham is a Grade 610, Model 1908 configuration manufactured from 1908 through 1934 and was a mainstay in the Waltham Watch Companies line up of fine offerings. This fine movement has 7 jewels and is stem set and stem wound. This fine Grade 610 is a ¾ Plate Nickel Silver movement with a gold center wheel, flush gold jewel settings, Breguet Hairspring, and is adjusted to position and temperature.
