This fine timepiece is lever set and stem wound and a size 16 measuring 2 inches in diameter, the most popular of sizes. This Grade 571 is highlighted with this rare Elgin Boxcar Dial; we have both the dp design and the Star under the Elgin Logo. The dp design was for the Dura Power Mainspring, a newly developed alloy, stronger and more flexible for added accuracy and dependability. The Star is for the grade of movement. We have a wonderful all-original configuration for your consideration with this Grade 571 Movement, pristine porcelain Boxcar Dial and housed in this Elgin/Keystone Case Company 10K Yellow Gold Fill Case and highlighted with beautifully blued Steel Spade Whip/Hands. This Elgin Railroad Dial is in pristine condition bright white and without flaws. We have the Elgin logo, dp logo and rare in that we also have the Star on this dial. Then we have the Elgin Boxcar has the bold Arabic numerals around the outer circumference with a recessed sub-register for the custom second hand. This fine dial is made using two copper plates, and then baked with many layers of Silica to give the dial depth and the rich Porcelain finish. This beautiful dial is highlighted with the original heat-treated beautifully Blued Steel Spade/Whip Railroad Hands again in pristine condition. This all-original Elgin Pocket Watch is in excellent condition and shows beautifully and sure to be appreciated for generations to come.

This Elgin 571 Movement has the wide Shadow Line damasking and is in pristine condition without reckless jeweler’s tool marks or corrosion. This fine Elgin Grade 571 Movement has 21 Jewels and the Dura Power Mainspring for added durability and accuracy. This high-grade movement is lever set and stem wound with a double roller, safety pinion, high-grade micro regulator and gold balance weights. We also have flush pressed jewel settings with a gold center wheel and train. This Elgin 571 Pocket Watch is also adjusted to 8 positions and temperature all designed for extreme accuracy and dependability. This Elgin has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper as designed.
