This Grade 407 had a very limited and unusual production run, with a total production of only 5,360 in total from 1913 through 1927. They had 4 production years with only 30 pocket watches manufactured in 1913 and 30 in 1914, in 1926 they produced 2,300 and 1927 a total of 3000 to complete this edition. This fine movement is highlighted with a gold regulator and gold screws and a gold filled train, truly a rare configuration with all the possible parts are gold or gold filled. This Grade 407 is housed in an exquisite Star Case Company Tetradecagon Shape Case, that is a rare 14-sided case. This fine case is finished in a rare two-tone White and Yellow Gold Fill. This Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch of the day is a size 12 measuring 1¾ inch in diameter and was a symbol of prestige and status and manufactured to the highest of standards. We have one of the finest examples of an extremely rare high-grade Illinois Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch of the day.

The Illinois Grade 407 is an extremely rare and high-grade movement with a very low production of only 5,360 in total. This fine movement has the pin stripe damasking on the nickel plate movement. This stellar 19 Jewel movement also has all the different size and shape screws in gold or gold fill, also the regulator screw and regulator whip are even finished in gold, truly a rare high grade movement. Then all the script and engraving on the movement is highlighted in gold, just stunning. This fine movement is also adjusted to 3 positions and heat and cold with a micro regulator, raised gold jewel settings, gold balance weights, gold center wheel and it pendant set and stem wound. This fine Illinois Pocket Watch is an excellent timekeeper and sure to be appreciated for generations to come. This rare Art Deco Illinois Dial is certainly worth mention, classic and in just pristine condition. The Illinois Dial is truly a unique design and beautifully crafted. We have the stylized Arabic Numerals around the outer circumference. Then we have the engraved center portion, exquisite and like few other dials with the Illinois logo in a banner in the center, then we have a recessed sub chapter for the second hand. This finest of dials is highlighted with the original beautifully blued steel Open Diamond Crossbar Hands with the matching second hand. This finest of Illinois Dress Pocket Watch is in pristine condition and shows beautifully.

The rare Illinois Grade 407 Movement is housed this exquisite Two Tone Case manufactured by the Star Watch Case Company Case. The size 12 case is very rare with 14 sides called a tetradecagon shape case. This finest of cases along with the custom shape has beautiful engraving around the outside perimeter of the case and the case back is just stunning, with the two tone White and Yellow Gold Fill engraving. The cartouche on the case back has and still has not yet been personally engraved. This fine Star Watch Case has the desired single hinged case, the case back open out for easy viewing. This highest of grade Art Deco Illinois Pocket Watch is an excellent timekeeper ready for daily wear or a wonderful addition to any collection.
