This extra fine Railroad Grade 571 Elgin Pocket Watch is lever set and stem wound and is a size 16 and measures 2 inches in diameter the most popular of sizes. The Grade 571 is known for the Dura Power Mainspring a new alloy stronger and more flexible for added accuracy and dependability a significant enhancement. This Elgin Railroad Dial is in pristine condition bright white and without flaws. The Elgin “Boxcar” Railroad Dial has the bold and functional Arabic font. This Elgin Dial is referred to as single sunk dial with the Elgin logo and the Dura Power dp Logo in the center of the dial with a black circle painted around the center circumference. Then we have the Elgin Arabic numerals around the outer circumference with a recessed sub register for the second hand. This dial is made using two copper plates, and then many layers of Silica are baked on top to give the dial the depth and this deep rich glass porcelain finish. This beautiful dial is highlighted with the original heat-treated blued steel Spade/Whip Railroad Hands again in pristine condition. This Elgin Pocket Watch is in just excellent condition and shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generation to come.

This fine Elgin 571 Movement has the wide Shadow Line damasking and is again in excellent condition without reckless jewelers tool marks or corrosion. This fine Elgin Grade 571 Movement has 21 fine Ruby Jewels and is lever set and stem wound. This fine movement is also adjusted to heat and cold and is adjusted to 8 positions. Then we have a double roller, safety pinion, high-grade micro regulator and gold balance weights, flush jewel settings with a gold center wheel and train. This Elgin 571 Pocket Watch was designed for extreme accuracy; this has just been serviced and will continue to be an excellent timekeeper. This fine Elgin Pocket Watch is ready for daily wear or as an excellent addition to any collection.
