This is one of the highest-grade pocket watches manufactured by the Hamilton Watch Company or any other watch manufacture of the day. This Ball Hamilton Model 999 was manufactured in partnership with Webb C. Ball who at the request of the U.S Department of the Interior set the standard for timekeeping in 1894, this was after a disastrous accident between two mail trains with extensive loss of life and propriety all due to a faulty timepiece. Webb C. Ball did not actually produce any pocket watches himself; rather he worked with the major watch companies to produce these finest of Railroad Grade Pocket Watches. This is truly a collector’s pocket watch with this wonderful configuration of the White Gold Fill Display Back Case, Ball Hamilton Grade 999 Movement, Ball Patented Melamine Railroad Dial highlighted with the beautifully Blued Steel Spade/Spade Railroads Hands.

This all-original Ball Hamilton 999 Pocket Watch is a size 16, measuring 2 inches in diameter the most popular of sizes. The Ball Hamilton 999 Movement is again of the highest of grade movement’s manufactured. This fine movement winds as smooth as any pocket watch, an incredible well-tooled movement. This fine movement has the unique circular damasking pattern with 21 fine Ruby and Sapphire Pallet Jewels. Then the 999 also has a high-grade micro regulator, double barrel, gold balance weights, screw gold jewel settings, gold center wheel and train, lever set and stem wound with a steel escapement. This 999 is also adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, all designed for extreme accuracy.
