Hamilton Railroad Grade 992 Housed in this Desired Hamilton White GF Cross Bar Case

The Hamilton Grade 992 is the quintessential American-made Railroad Grade pocket watch. Hamilton’s 992 featured unparalleled accuracy and superb construction, much to the envy of watchmakers worldwide, including the vaunted Swiss manufacturers.

The 992 featured here was part of the 1928 production run. This fine movement is housed in this popular 14k white gold fill Hamilton Cross Bar case. This is a special watch case for today’s collectors. It was Hamilton’s first Art Deco design, initially seen in 1924, and it’s rare to find in this condition. The case is perfectly accentuated with a pristine Blind Man’s dial, double sunk with bright white enamel that makes for a stunning presentation against the white gold fill case and heat-treated blue steel hands—in excellent condition. This configuration’s combination of fine materials and expert craftsmanship is the foundation of the 992s reputation as the “Railroad Timekeeper of America.”

The exterior of this Hamilton 992 is in pristine condition and speaks volumes about the pride of ownership and the care taken to preserve this watch for over ninety years. You can feel the priceless stories of times long gone when you hold this watch in your hand, making this watch the perfect addition to your collection or as a special beginning for your family heirloom tradition.
