This Hamilton Railway Special Pocket Watch c.1951 is a perfect example of what’s been called “one of the highest quality consumer items ever made in the USA.” Its pristine dial features the highly prized Railway Special logo and “Old English or Blind Man’s” Arabic font, printed on this Melamine dial.

The watch is powered by the Hamilton 992B Movement. Produced from 1940 to 1969, it was famed for its design, the quality of its metal alloy parts and the new Elinvar Extra hairspring. The 992B is recognized as the most durable and accurate of all the Railroad Grade Pocket Watches manufactured.
