This Illinois Model 15 Grade 161A 60 Hour Bunn Special Movement is of the highest-grade movements manufactured by the Illinois Watch Company or any other manufacture for that matter. This 161A has the stunning and Sunburst or Sun Ray pattern damasked nickel silver plates, beautifully crafted. This movement is again pristine without corrosion or reckless jewelers tool marks. This Bunn Special Movement is lever set and stem wound with 21 fine Ruby Jewels, 60 Hour Mainspring, Elinvar Hairspring and is adjusted to 6 positions and heat and cold. The movement also has a high-grade micro regulator, gold balance weights, double roller, safety pinion, gold jewel settings raised and flush, gold center wheel and train with a steel escapement. This finest of Railroad Pocket Watches was designed for extreme accuracy and will continue to be an extremely accurate timepiece and will challenge modern watches for accuracy. This is truly the classic Illinois Railroad Pocket Watch, one for the collection.

This classic Illinois Railroad Dial is referred to as a Double Sunk Montgomery Dial with each minute marker in Arabic numerals around the outer circumference and every 5-minute marker highlighted in red. Then we also have the stylized Illinois Arabic font also on the raised outer circumference. Then we have the recessed center chapter for the Illinois Logo and another recessed sub chapter for the second hand. Truly the classic Illinois Railroad Dial both beautiful and the height of functionality. This pristine dial is actually made using 3 pieces of copper soldiered together. Then baked with many layers of silica giving the dial the depth and that deep rich porcelain finish. This Illinois Dial is in just excellent condition and is highlighted with the classic blued steel Railroad Hands also in excellent condition.
