This Hamilton Railroad Dial is clean, bright and just gorgeous! This dial is referred to as a double sunk Montgomery Dial and is one of the most popular of all Railroad Dials manufactured. We have the Hamilton logo in the center sunken chapter, and then around the outer circumference we have a raised chapter for the Old English Arabic numerals with every minute marker in Arabic numerals and every 5-minute marker highlighted in red. Then we have a sunken sub chapter for the second hand. This is fine Hamilton Montgomery Dial and is again one of the most popular of dials Hamilton offered. This is actually 3 pieces of metal soldered together then baked with many layers of silica to create this fine porcelain glass finish. This Hamilton Montgomery Railroad Dial is classic and one of the most popular railroad dials and a rare find in this condition, no issues I can detect. Along with this beautiful dial we have the original hands beautifully Blued Steel Spade / Whip Railroad Hands ornate and in excellent condition. This timepiece shows just beautifully and is an excellent timekeeper.
