The line of Westclox were advertised to be within 3 minutes a day and would hold a wind for 30 hours. The Westclox we sell still keep time and function to within the advertised standards. Although they were not designed to be as accurate as a jeweled pocket watch, this was a significant innovation in its day, an affordable mechanical pocket watch that most everyone could afford.

The Westclox Pocket Watches were originally sold for $1.00 in the early 1900s, from the 40’s through the 1970s more people were carrying Westclox’s Pocket Watches probably more than any other single manufacture. The later Wesclox Pocket Watches manufactured after the 1930s did not have a jewel movement and where riveted in place are and not designed for repair. The line of Westclox were advertised to be within 3 minutes a day and would hold a wind for 30 hours. The Westclox we sell still keep time and function to within the advertised standards. Although they were not designed to be as accurate as a jeweled pocket watch, this was a significant innovation in its day, an affordable mechanical pocket watch that most everyone could afford. This Bulls Eye has the sub register for the second hand the later Bulls’s Eyes into the 1960s did not have the second hand.
