This high grade Hamilton 992B is stem wound and lever set and a size 16 measuring 2 inches in diameter the most popular of sizes. We have a wonderful configuration with the pristine Montgomery Dial with the desired and rare Old English style font Arabic numerals, Hamilton Model 11 Yellow 10K Gold Fill Case, 992B Movement and highlighted with the original and pristine Blued Steel Spade/Whip Railroad Hands. The Hamilton Pocket Watch Grade 992B was first introduced in 1940 and was the pinnacle and the last high of the grade pocket watches the Hamilton Watch company introduced. Production started in 1940 and was the last off the production line was in 1969 when the factory closed. The total production of the 992B was 685,300 over 29 years in 31 production runs. This Hamilton Pocket Watch is in excellent condition and I so hope the pictures and extreme magnification help tell the story of this truly fine Hamilton Railroad Pocket Watch.

This Hamilton 992B is faced with a rare and pristine Single Sunk Hamilton Montgomery Railroad Dial. The Montgomery Dial has every minute marker in Arabic numerals around the outer circumference with every 5 minute marked highlighted in red. This Montgomery Dial with the Hamilton Old English Arabic font numerals is a rare find, just not as many produced as other models dials to face the 992B. This classic Hamilton Dial has the raised center chapter for the Hamilton logo written in block font, with the Arabic numerals around the outer circumference. Then we have a recessed sub-chapter for the second hand. This Hamilton Railroad Dial is again one of the most popular and collected of all railroad dials, both beautiful and the height of functionality. This pristine dial is again without flaws and is highlighted with the original beautifully heat treated Blued Steel Spade Whip Railroad Hands.
