This stunning solid 14K Gold case is beautifully hand engraved and faced with this beautiful and ornate dial. This stunning solid 14K Gold case is beautifully hand engraved and faced with this beautiful and ornate dial. In 1913 this fine pocket watch was a symbol of prestige and status, manufactured to the highest standards. This rare Elgin has the desired configuration of the Elgin Grade 295 movement, hand engraved 14K Gold case, custom hand painted dial with gold and silver highlights, highlighted with gold Louis XIV hands, all in pristine condition. This ornate Elgin Dial is hand painted and highlighted with both Gold and Silver accents. This fine dial is a rare find in such excellent condition and without flaws. Then we also have the desired Roman Numerals, common before the turn of the century and uncommon after. This fine dial is referred to as single sunk and is made using two Copper Plates soldered together. The Cooper Plates are then baked with many layers of Silica giving the dial the deep rich porcelain finish. Then the numbers and treatment were hand screened and then baked again with clear Silica. These fine dials are truly works of art with a very fine porcelain finish. This dial is highlighted with the ornate Gold Louis XIV Hands . This stunning Elgin Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for many generations to come.

The pristine Elgin Grade 295 movement is a size 6 and again just over 1 ½ inches in diameter. This fine movement is in excellent condition without reckless tool marks or corrosion. This Grade 295 has 15 Jewels, high-grade Regulator, Gold Balance Weights, screw Gold Jewel Cup Setting. This fine timepiece has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper as designed.
