This antique Elgin Dial is referred to as a Porcelain Single Sunk Dial. This single sunk dial has the antique Elgin logo with classic Roman Numerals and the classic Railroad Track design around the outer circumference. Then we have a sunken sub register for the second hand. This dial does have minor crazing, not significant for a pocket watch of this age, though I have to mention. These fine dials are made using many layers of baked Silica giving the dials that deep rich Porcelain finish. This fine dial is highlighted the original delicate and beautifully Blued Steel Spade Hands. This classic Elgin Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.
