Folks we have another wonderful offing for your consideration; this antique Hampden Railroad Pocket Watch. This pristine Hampden Grade New Railway has 21 jewels and is lever set and stem wound and designed for extreme accuracy. This Hampden is a size 18 and measures 2 1/4 inches in diameter, the classic antique railroad pocket watch. The Hampden New Railway has beautiful antique damasking on the nickel silver plates. This Hampden is housed is a beautiful Dauber 10K gold fill case, the cartouche has not had a personally monogrammed, yet. The Dauber Hampden Watch Company was know for quality and innovative pocket watch designs. This was truly the scientific instrument of the day in 1910, on par with the smartphone of today.
This is an excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American pocket watch a worldwide standard for beauty and accuracy in timekeeping.
This Hampden Pocket Watch has just been cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy. This entails a complete disassembly, all parts cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, and reassembled using the finest watch oil and gear grease.
This vintage Hampden Pocket Watch is warranted for one full year from the date of purchase.

This New Railway is faced with this pristine Hampden double sunk railroad dial. This was the top of the line dial and for .50 cents you could upgrade from the single sunk dial to this double sunk dial. We have the raised outer circumference with the bold Hampden Arabic numerals and every 5-minute marker highlighted in red. Then we have the recessed center chapter for the Hampden logo, with a recessed sub chapter for the second hand. These ornate dials were made using 3 Copper Plates soldered together, and then baked with many layers of Silica giving the dial the deep rich porcelain finish. This dial is in excellent condition, clean, bright and gorgeous! This beautiful dial is highlighted with the original blued Steel railroad spade hands. This timepiece shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.
