We are pleased to offer for your consideration this classic Elgin Pocket Watch circa 1923. The Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch Pocket of the day was manufactured to the highest of standards. This dress dial does have heavy patina and I think it gives the pocket watch real character. The hands are blued steel and show beautifully against the White Gold Fill case and the patina on the dial. The Elgin Dress Pocket Watch Grade 345 is a wonderful configuration with the Elgin Grade 345 Movement, heavy and evenly patina dial, blued steel hands and housed in this beautifully engraved Wadsworth Gold Fill Case. This all-original Elgin Pocket Watch is truly a unique find, the Rat Rod of Pocket Watches so to speak.

This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.

We are pleased to offer for your consideration this classic Elgin Pocket Watch circa 1923. The Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch Pocket of the day was manufactured to the highest of standards. This dress dial does have heavy patina and I think it gives the pocket watch real character. The hands are blued steel and show beautifully against the White Gold Fill case and the patina on the dial. The Elgin Dress Pocket Watch Grade 345 is a wonderful configuration with the Elgin Grade 345 Movement, heavy and evenly patina dial, blued steel hands and housed in this beautifully engraved Wadsworth Gold Fill Case. The high grade 345 Movement is stem wound and stem set and a size 12 measuring 1¾ inch in diameter. This all-original Elgin Pocket Watch is truly a unique find, the Rat Rod of Pocket Watches so to speak. I hope the many pictures help tell the story of this Elgin Dress Pocket Watch of the day.

The fine Elgin Grade 345 Movement has 17 jewels and is stem set and stem wound. The fine movement has the antique damasking on the nickel silver plate movement. The 345 Movement also has a gold center wheel, raised gold jewel settings and is adjusted to 3 positions. We also have a steel escapement, micro regulator and gold balance weights, all for added accuracy. This fine Elgin Dress Pocket Watch has just been serviced and is and excellent timekeeper and ready for daily wear or as a fine addition to any collection.

The Elgin 345 Movement is housed in beautifully engraved White Gold Fill Case manufactured by the Wadsworth Watch Case Company. Wadsworth was known for manufacturing the finest of pocket watch cases and the this is a wonderful example of the antique single hinge designed case. The case does have a personal monogram of “JW” on the back for a bit more character. This 14K White Gold Fill Case is in excellent condition and shows beautifully against the dial and blued hands. This fine case is in excellent condition without dings, dents just the most minor wear to the case back, still showing beautifully.
