This fine Elgin is housed in the desired Keystone 10K Gold Fill Mainliner Case and highlighted with the popular train engraved case back. This Elgin Railroad Dial is in excellent condition bright white and stunning. The Elgin “Boxcar” Railroad Dial has the classic bold and functional Arabic font numerals. This Elgin Dial is referred to as single sunk dial with the Elgin logo and the in the center of the dial with a black circle painted around the center circumference. Then we have the bold Elgin Arabic numerals referred to as the “Boxcar” font around the outer circumference with a recessed sub register for the second hand. This fine dial is made using two copper plates soldered together and then baked with many layers of Silica to give the dial depth and this rich porcelain finish. This beautiful dial is highlighted with the original heat-treated blued steel Spade/Whip Railroad Hands in excellent condition. This all original Elgin Pocket Watch is in excellent condition and shows beautifully, sure to be appreciated for generations to come.

This fine Elgin 487 Movement Grade BW Raymond has the wide Shadow Line damasking and is in excellent condition. This fine Elgin Grade 478 Movement has 21 large fine Ruby Jewels and is Lever Set and Stem Wound. Then we have the, double roller, safety pinion, high-grade micro regulator and gold balance weights with flush jewel settings with a gold center wheel and train. This Elgin 478 Pocket Watch is also adjusted to 5 positions and heat and cold. This fine Elgin is movement is designed for extreme accuracy and was truly the scientific instrument of the day. This has just been serviced and will continue to be an excellent timekeeper as designed.
