Bartlett, 1883 is the classic pocket watch of the day with the Roman Numerals and the larger Size 18 measuring 2 ¼ inches in diameter. This pocket watch was manufactured before “Railroad Standards” had been established and this would have been the classic and common pocket watch used on the rails. This Lever Set, Grade 15, P.S. This Waltham Model P.S. Bartlett is faced with this desired Waltham Single Sunk Dial. This fine dial has the classic Roman Numerals and the Railroad Track design around the outer circumference with the recessed sub chapter for the second hand. These ornate and finest of dials where made using 2 Copper Plates soldiered together, and then baked with many layers of Silica giving the dial the deep rich porcelain finish. This beautiful dial is highlighted with the original pristine Blued Steel Spade/Spade Hands. This fine Waltham Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.
The high grade P.S Bartlett has the beautiful ornate antique damasking on the full plate movement. This Waltham Grade 15 has a 15 Jewel Movement that is lever set and stem wound. This Waltham Movement is in pristine condition without reckless jewelers tool marks or corrosion. The fine P.S. Bartlett Movement has 15 fine Ruby Jewels, adjusted to 3 positions and is also adjusted to heat and cold. This fine movement also has a high-grade micro regulator, gold balance weights and gold jewel settings with a gold center and steel escapement. This Waltham Pocket Watch was a top of the line offering and a rare find in such fine condition.This timepiece has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper; yes still an excellent timekeeper.
