The antique Royal Model Waltham Pendant Watch was manufactured to the highest of standards. This Royal Movement has 13 jewels and is a very high-grade movement and is still an excellent timekeeper 127 years later. The Waltham Royal was a very successful movement for The Am. Waltham Watch Co. and this model was in production from 1885 through 1912. This extra fine antique pendant watch has a gold center wheel, gold balance wheel and weights and a high-grade regulator. This antique pendant watch has just been serviced and is again an excellent timekeeper.

The dial on this antique Waltham Pendant Watch is a pristine porcelain dial Waltham made using many layers of baked silica giving the dial the deep glass appearance. A stunning timepiece with beautiful Roman numerals that shows beautifully and is again in just pristine condition. This Hunter Case Movement is wound at the crown at the 3:00 position. Then to set the time the simply pull the lever out at the 24-minute position and the winding crown becomes the setting mechanism. Yes, stem set pocket and pendant watches still were not common in 1886 and the lever was still the solution to setting the time on these antique timepieces.

This is again a fine example of ingenuity that made the late 19th century American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.
