This Hamilton 992 is faced with this extra fine Single Sunk Railroad Dial. This dial has the popular antique Hamilton signed script logo later changed to a block font. The porcelain dial has the stylized bold Arabic font numerals with every 5-minute marker highlighted in red around the outer circumference. Then we have a sunken sub chapter for the second hand. These beautiful dials are made using the two Copper plates soldered together, then coated with many layers of baked silica for that rich glass, porcelain finish. The fine 992 Movement is housed this pristine J. Boss Keystone 10K Rose Gold Fill Case. This case is in pristine condition without dings, dents or scratches one might expect to find. This pocket watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.

This pristine Hamilton Grade 992, Model 1 has the double screw-winding wheel and the most ornate damasking with the lettering highlighted in gold. The total production of the Grade 992 was 545,000 over 28 years, only the first 100,000 pocket watches has the double winding screw and ornate damasking we have here, later they went to the single winding screw and pin stripe damasking. This Grade 992 was manufactured to the highest of standards and we have and excellent example with beautiful damasking and without corrosion or reckless jewelers tool marks. This Hamilton 992 Movement is lever set and stem wound with 21 fine Ruby Jewels and adjusted to 5 positions. The movement is also adjusted to heat and cold with a high-grade regulator. The movement also has gold balance weights; raised gold jewel settings, gold center wheel and train with a steel escapement all designed for exceptional accuracy. This finest of pocket watches has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper as designed.
