This Grade 376 Veritas is one of the most collected of all railroad grade pocket watches. We have a wonderful configuration with this stunning double sunk porcelain dial, pristine Veritas 23 Jewel Movement, Elgin 12K Gold Fill Railroad Case and highlighted with the original heat-treated Blued Steel Hands. The Veritas Pocket Watch is Elgin’s finest offering in their line of railroad grade pocket watches. This fine movement is a grade 376 Model 15 Class 132 and Veritas is referred to as the variation. This fine antique movement has the beautiful two tone damasking with both the Checked Board pattern in the center and the Sunrays emanating from the center, beautifully crafted. This fine movement is in pristine condition without reckless jewelers tool marks or corrosion. This fine Elgin Grade 376 Veritas Movement has 23 fine Ruby Jewels, jeweled Motor Barrel and referred to as a Quick Train Movement for added durability and accuracy. This high-grade movement is also Lever Set and Stem Wound with a double roller, safety pinion, high-grade micro regulator and gold balance weights. We also have gold flush screw settings with a gold center wheel and train. This Elgin Veritas Pocket Watch is also adjusted to 5 positions and temperature all designed for extreme accuracy and dependability. This has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper as designed.

The antique Elgin Railroad Dial is in pristine condition bright white with heavy ink saturation. This fine Elgin Railroad Dial has the classic bold antique Arabic font. This fine porcelain dial is beautifully crafted with an unusually heavy amount of porcelain used to craft this dial. This Elgin Double Sunk Dial is made by soldering three copper plates together and then baking on many layers of Silica to give the dial depth and the rich porcelain finish. This beautiful dial is highlighted with the original heat-treated beautifully Blued Steel Spade Whip Railroad Hands also in excellent condition. This fine timepiece is housed in this 12K Gold Fill Elgin marked Railroad Case and was manufactured by the Star Watch Case Company for Elgin. The Elgin RR is engraved on the front of the case under the crown. This Elgin Veritas Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.
