This Regina Pocket Watch by Omega is a Size 18 and dates back to 1908. It has 15 Jewels and is Stem Set and Stem Wind. This was the “Railroad Grade Pocket Watch” of its day. With over 50 different train lines in operation all with their own standards for time keeping. This Pocket Watch was manufactured in Canada for the Canadian Railroad, the dial is referred to as a Canadian Dial due to the hour markers underneath the Arabic Numbers.
This Pocket Watch is referred to as a 3/4 Plate Movement with only the “Balance Wheel” showing inside the movement. This is truly a historical timepiece. This timepiece has the original crystal,with a few scratches, but is as thick and nice as crystals get. A wonderful timepiece – and over 100 years old at that.
The size is 2 1/4 inches diameter. These watches are known for their ability to stand up to the test of time, keeping in mind the activity involved in daily wear.
